  • You’re human too, what makes you qualified to help me with my issues?"
This is one of the best questions a client has ever asked me, because it's a valid point! Therapists are human and are still impacted by life, stress, and current events. We also have our own lived experience and value systems. In order to ensure I provide the best service to my clients, I engage in ongoing individual and group clinical supervision. I am also engaged in my own ongoing therapy to help me process my day-to-day experiences before I guide my clients in navigating theirs.

If you/ we decide we are not a good fit, or your reasons for seeking therapy are beyond my scope of practice, I can refer you to another provider who is better suited to meet your needs.
